Boring day was boring.

Safe for visiting my girlfriend = /

I had to work on that day, so I did basically nothing

and to make things better, the down pour came. = /


My co-workers thought it was the 'end of the world' finally coming till the sun came out n stuff.

Yeah, good times.

AND I REALLY NEED A NEW CAMERA!

I was trying to take pictures of yesterday and my camera was going out of wack and stuff = /

I just really want a Nikon... = =

.+ Restaraunt Makeover Turn-Down +.

So just as the title says, Its a Restaraunt Makeover turn-down.

My mom is Nova Scotian, so I think it's safe to say; We. Love. Seafood.

And when it comes to Fish 'n Chips/Clams, we both are extremely picky. = /

The fish is good, but the chips are over-cooked...then the chips are great, but the fish is too 'watery', no flavor.

I was watching a rather old episode of R.M. this morning and they finally did one not too far in Downtown Toronto about a Seafood restaurant that mained in Fish 'n Chips. The chef himself said that both the fish and chips were cooked superb (it was his brothers old recipe, so he was upset that it wasn't his own food) but he still got a good review from him.

So here I am all pumped and everything, ready to actually take my time and try them out tomorrow, go on Google to search up for reviews and where it is, and apparently it was closed down.

I was so upset. Then I tried looking up for a few other restaurants that were shown on the show, and they were all closed down too! Most within a year from the show, the rest about a few months after!

It hurts so much ; ;

Okay! So I have known about the Uzzlang from time now, but didn't know much about the Udoli sadly =/

So after looking it up along with my cousin, Udoli is like Uzzlang, but more black girls being kawaii and asian.

Alot of other people also say that Udoli and Uzzlang are the same.

I know I might be getting 'in trouble' for speaking mind, but they totally are not.

Uzzlang is more getting in touch with your tribal black side, placing on make-up like the african tribes and wearing loud vibrant colours that express this...Udoli is like mentioned before, being kawaii and more into the asian look.

Do not get me wrong please, both styles are amazing and cute, and I love how more of the black girls/boys out there are doing this since it's OUR own style, its just that they are two totally different styles and not many people seem to get that =/

ANYWAY, GETTING BACK TO MY POINT!!!

I was way off in thinking that this other girl was the creator of this fashion (which...i was actually right, I just never saw her without the black hair, which personally I do not like =/ )

It makes me wish to try this fashion now...well, the legit one, but Im too scared cause I think I might do the clothing style all wrong = .=

Awesome day was awesome!

So my cousin and my friends finally had a chance after searching for cosplay parts to go to these two restaraunts;

Cafe Princess and Congee Time.

Congee Time was first after our hunt, and man, the food is superb there, and the price was just right!

I would advise though to go with a group, cause the amount of food they give you at the price is well worth it and quiet a plate full!

 

 

Its rather small in there too. A Chinese restaraunt btw, forgot to add that. 

So now we take our time to head over to Cafe Princess. Imagine a maid cafe but without the maid.

And the Japanese

Yes, this place is Korean!

 

 

  

 

I love waffles! What I had.

Its very pricey. They accept debit and cash..but not credit =/

Oh well, the food was good, atmosphere fun and lively and had BG music. And what a place, couches and chairs ^^!

You can also go up to the front and ask for board games to play with while you sit and eat, I think you have to pay though.

All in all, it was a great day! Im happy that I finally got a chance to go to these two places, been waiting forever for a friend of mine to take me, but she was too busy with things =/.

Hi everyone

Sorry for the lag. Getting ready for the Anime convention and working @@

So anyways, May 7th was free comic book day for all comic book shops all over the world!

It was great! I went the day before to my favorite comic book shop; The Labyrinth, to check out what they had, so when the next day comes I was ready!

 

 

The last one is at the Toronto Library.

Apparently there was another free comic event happening there called "TCAR". Comic book artist n such had tables open to show off their stuff. It was okay, but really packed, so we left and went somewhere else.

All I know is that the day was great! Hung out with friends DT for the Weed March/ Free Comic Book Day, and got to furwalk!
